Christmas is over, and 2016 is right around the corner!!!! New Year’s Eve is a great time to get daring with your makeup and outfit. As NYE approaches, I hear my girlfriends complaining about the preparation the night requires: the outfit, shoes, spray tan, mani/pedi, the list goes on. This year, I challenge you to look in your closet and find one piece that’s been hanging way too long, maybe that’s even a gold lamé Escada top from the 80’s. Get creative and center your NYE look around this piece, and you can finally say, with complete honesty, “Oh, this old thing…”.
For me, this gold Escada shirt from Goodwill hung in my closet for several months before inspiring my blog name and jump starting this journey for me. This look would be great for a NYE house party, GNO, or dinner with your significant other. You can never go wrong with metallics and sparkle for New Year’s Eve! It is only fitting that I feature it in my New Year’s Eve look and last look of 2015.
Show me your New Year’s Eve looks on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook with the #goldwilldiggerNYE! I can’t wait to see what has been hiding in your closet! P.S. I have a challenge coming up for 2016, details coming to the blog in the next few days! Make sure you subscribe to the blog to receive all new posts straight to your inbox!
That looks so great on you! I love trying to work with what I have, challenging, but so much more rewarding. Love this shirt with the white pants.

Thank you, and I agree! Happy New Year!
God I adore that shirt
I’m loving your outfit! That necklace, I need one like it. I’m going to have to take a peek at three Goodwill’s around.
I have gotten several clutches from Goodwill and thrift stores. People always ask where I find them. You can find some gorgeous bags this way!
