I love the holidays, but after decorating, shopping for friends and family, and wrapping up year-end craziness, the last thing I want to do is worry about what I’m going to wear. To solve this problem, I grab a couple of pieces to pull double-duty for my full social calendar, my little black dress 2.0. I love black, but half of the dresses in my closet are of the LBD variety. The holidays are the perfect time to change things up but still stay true to your roots (and not live in yoga pants…but that sounds nice, too.)
I am working this sequin top and skirt overtime this holiday season. I would pair this sequin crop top with red palazzo pants for a swanky Christmas cocktail. I subscribe to the Taylor Swift rule of always covering the belly button so make sure those pants are high-waisted, ladies. For post-Christmas morning mayhem, I would pair this skirt with a festive sweater or kitschy Christmas sweatshirt and black booties. Don’t forget to add a bright red lip because…CHRISTMAS!

I love what you’re doing with Goldwill Digger. You have such a great style and I support the up-cycle message you’re creating…
Btw: the sweater I’m wearing right now was $2 at a goodwill blowout in Dan Francisco last year. My boots were $5 at the local thrift shop. I always get compliments on both 😉
I love wearing sequins around the holidays 🙂 that outfit is beautiful!
