Toggle Coat: Forever 21 via Goodwill (Similar Splurge or Save); Turtleneck: Antonio Melani via Goodwill (Similar Splurge or Save); Skirt: Talbots via Goodwill (Similar Splurge or Save); Rain boots: Hunter; Earrings: Banana Republic; Nail Polish: OPI in Bittersweet
The temps are finally dropping, and winter is peeking around the corner. I begrudgingly pulled out my winter coats and snagged a few gems from Goodwill. When I spotted this yellow toggle coat on the rack, I immediately had a flashback to this picture of Taylor Swift and Paddington Bear. Because I have an affinity for children’s literature and all things T. Swizzle, I couldn’t resist but snatch this coat up.
During the winter months, my wardrobe can best be described as homeless chic as all fashion rules are thrown out the window, and I gravitate toward the darkest and warmest pieces in my closet. I am challenging myself to incorporate more color into my winter wardrobe, and I’m diving in head first with this yellow coat. Yellow is great color to pair with neutrals and darker colors (and for my brunette ladies). The added perk is that it also instantly brightens your mood and makes you easier to spot in on-coming traffic.
Anyone else want to join my challenge to incorporate more color into your winter wardrobe?

I also look for bright colors to accessorize with all of the black I wear. Love this coat!! Hopefully will have luck at our Goodwill! Thanks!?

Thank you for the kind words! Happy New Year!
Hey! This is kind of off topic but I need some help from an established blog.
Is it difficult to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast.
I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to start.
Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks

It’s not difficult at all, but I’m hardly established. I have only been blogging since October, and I am self-taught. Read a lot of articles online. There are dozens on things to do before you start a blog! Good luck!
Nice post, when can we expect the next one?
